Mr. Nandana Ranasinghe, President of Sri Lanka United Grama Niladari Association, says that today (27th) and tomorrow (28th) Grama Niladari will go on strike by leaving all services due to the government not intervening in the problems of not providing the Grama Niladari services in the manner required by the service constitution and not providing the allowances in accordance with the present.
The chairman further said that the government should be responsible for the inconvenience caused to the people today and tomorrow.
Mr. Nanda Ranasinghe, President of the United Grama Niladari Association of Sri Lanka said that 11,700 Grama Niladari people in the island will join this strike.
