79 Sri Lankans get jobs in Israel for the second time.

The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau recently presented flight tickets to a group of Sri Lankans who had legally left for Israel to work in the agricultural sector and returned to the country to work in Israel.

79 youths were given these job opportunities, and they have served in Israel for 5 years and 3 months.

The flight tickets were presented by the Chairman of the Bureau, Mr. Kosala Wickramasinghe.

Work in a manner that upholds the dignity of the country.

The Chairman stated that these workers can act as brand ambassadors in creating new job opportunities for job seekers who are looking to go abroad for agriculture-related jobs in Israel, which is currently a source of controversy.

Therefore, Mr. Wickremesinghe further requested the job seekers to act responsibly as Sri Lankans to protect the dignity of the motherland.

This group is scheduled to leave for Israel on December 28th.

Will they get the Israeli job for sure?

Meanwhile, the Bureau has introduced a new portal on the Bureau website www.slbfe.lk to allow workers who have applied for jobs in Israel to self-check the status of their files.

To obtain this information, you can visit the bureau’s website, select the ”Israel” portal under “Recruitment”, enter your national identity card number, telephone number and other relevant data and obtain the necessary information.

The bureau hopes to further develop this service, which is provided completely free of charge, in the future based on demand.
