Former Secretary General of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, Dayasiri Jayasekara, has been issued a restraining order by the Colombo District Court.
This order has been issued to prevent Sri Lanka Freedom Party Acting General Secretary Sarathi Dushmantha Mitrapala from acting in a way that interferes with his work and making false recommendations to the election commissions in this regard.
Colombo District Judge Sandun Withanage ordered that the order will remain in force until the 21st.
This order was issued after considering a petition submitted by Sri Lanka Freedom Party President Maithripala Sirisena and its Acting General Secretary Sarathi Dushmantha Mitrapala.
